We have used a wide range of materials to make this very popular collection as extensive as possible to suit everyone’s taste. The most popular of the mini collections is off course the horn collection closely followed by the bone and coco-shell though the steel and mother of pearl collections are also very highly recomended. This organic piercing jewelry collection is very important to have as this is the first stage in getting your ear stretched for anyone that want to start using big gauge body jewelry. The quality of the finishing is not as high as with our main organic piercing collection but this is also reflected on the price which makes the mini collection quite cheap and a very good choice to increase the variety of your body jewelry collection. Organic Jewelry
In this section of our Organic Jewelry catalogue you will find all different sorts of Indonesian Jewelry that is not used as body piercing jewelry. We have a huge assortment of wood-rings, wooden bangles and necklaces, shell-earrings as well as wood earrings, leather bracelets and a wide selection of pendants in many types of organic materials. The main material used is Sono-wood, also called brown Rose-wood, this is a local wood which is very abundant and there are no restrictions on exports or imports. The color is dark-brown with a very nice soft grain; the look is similar to Ebony though it is not as hard which makes it ideal for wood-jewelry. Please note that we never use any Ebony or other protected woods in the production of our organic wood jewelry. Other materials used in the making of our organic jewelry collection includes, coco-shell, assorted sea-shells, beached buffalo coral, bamboo, cinnamon as well as leather for our bracelets and as string for our necklaces.
All of our organic jewelry is handcrafted using traditional methods with the help of some modern equipment as to get a nice finish to the product as well as a consistency of quality which we find is very important to our customers. We always try our best to select the wood we use for our organic wood jewelry so that there are not too many variations in color and grain, and we do hand-pick the shells we use to make sure there are no cracks or other defects. Please do keep in mind however that all our wood jewelry and shell jewelry is made by hand using natural materials so there is always room for a few small variations but that kind of adds to the charm of the organic jewelry.
